The La-La Game started as a simple moment during COVID whilst playing with my son. We began la-la-ing nursery rhymes and guessing songs, with no grand plan attached. What looked like a small and slightly silly game idea eventually became a card concept, then a mobile app and now a wider exploration of creativity, curiosity and connection.
On the surface, The La-La Game is simple. La-La a tune and see who can guess it. Under the surface, it has become a reminder that nothing sits in a vacuum. Ideas carry stories, memories, emotions and lessons with them.
I’m also exploring the process behind creating this app through future talks and keynote themes around creativity, vibe coding, education and what happens when we give ourselves permission and the psychological space to let our minds wander.
The La-La Game is a perfect example of how I aim to lead by example, when delivering my Projects to Thrive workshops.
